I set my alarm early, tried to get up and out the door to beat the sunrise. I lost the race by around 10 minutes. I wanted to take some dawn and sunrise photos at the Culver Conservancy, but I just had to settle to using the early morning light to take these photos. I have a new tripod and a couple of new lenses to play with this morning.
That was just the beginning of the day. I planned out a trip that took me to Pleasant Valley Conservatory by Black Earth for a nature hike, and a stop in Cross Plains for geocaching. I will make a new blog entry for that (with a ton of photos to share) when time allows me to this week.
